Rachel & Luna

“Dr Emily has supported me every step of the way to finding the solutions to help Luna through her fearful behaviours, always going above-and-beyond when it came to ensuring Luna was comfortable and understood. I look back in awe of how far we came since our first consult; I now have a happy, connected and significantly less stressed dog now, where positive experiences are outweighing negative feelings for Luna on a daily basis”

Dr Emily is professional and personable. She is empathetic and understanding but also applies science to her assessment and recommendations.

She literally saved my dogs life. She detected the signs he had cancer and he was able to get chemo straight away and is now in remission.

She also stopped him from needing to be rehomed due to severe behavioural issues resulting in attacks on my other dog. Through targeted use of medication and behavioural modifications my two fur babies are able to live peacefully and happily in our home.

She follows up and is always responsive when advice is needed. Well worth the money. Would pay it ten times over for the results she has achieved.

Rachael & Charlie

“Dr Emily has been incredible in working with our Charlie girl in understanding her behaviour from uniquely both a veterinarian and behaviourist perspective.

Charlie at 9 months was terribly sick as a result of swallowing a rope toy which landed her in SASH for a few nights and caused ongoing damage to her gut. Charlie as a result was always troubled with a “sensitive stomach” and coupled with this and then desexing Charlie’s behaviour significantly declined.

What we underestimated was the impact that this time in hospital had on her behaviour, her confidence level and the changes in her hormone levels.  We went from thinking that Charlie was going through that what we thought was that “puppy stage” to understanding she was actually quite stressed and at times anxious which resulted in her jumping and biting behaviour.

With the support and advice of Emily we adjusted her diet, introduced behavioural medication and now better understand and eliminate the triggers that cause her anxiety.

We cannot thank Dr Emily enough as our Charlie girl is now calm, walks with confidence and is generally a happier more comfortable puppy.”
